Minus the HP shit, this one was the favorite of the Holiday Romance movies I watched today. It was a delightful second chance story with an all-around strong cast.
The final cheesy Holiday Romance movie for today is A Merry Little Ex-Mas, starring Alicia Silverstone & Oliver Hudson & all my gratitude to Netflix for centering GenX actors in their Holiday rom-coms.
This one loses points, though, for having a supporting character who is an HP tour guide.

I'm now embarking upon my first viewing of A Christmas Prince. I've been skipping it because there was too much hype & I had to wait until I could go into it sorta, kinda fresh.

If you're at the airport, be kind to the workers. Except TSA, because they're still part of DHS & fuck those guys. (Be icily polite, but nothing more.)

I know it's sometimes inevitable, but if you are in the US, try not to shop today. The people working at stores or websites also have families & if we shop less on Thanksgiving, maybe, just maybe, it will cost more to stay open than is made in sales & fewer people will have to work T-Day next year.

I read a tip earlier this month that I'm going to start implementing–when you purchase something online and they require you to sign up for their mailing list, note in one of your name boxes the website you're filing the form out on. Then you know who sold your data when your inbox gets clogged.

I'm no doctor, but did you know that if you take an anti-inflammatory it will actually help reduce/prevent swelling &/or pain?
(I am actually an idiot who has only recently started taking an Aleve before bed & discovering I can walk on my wonky ankle 1st thing in the AM w/ minimal pain.)

My sympathies are with the Guard members & their families, but I have also reached the point where my first thought was that the shootings were orchestrated by the admin as an excuse to send in more troops.
