the LDS Church did not allow black priests, opposed interracial marriage, supported racial segregation in its communities and church schools & taught that righteous Black people would be made white after death until 1978

unsurprising they're making a big PR push during the Nazi revival

The founders didn't desire a lot of things. For instance, voting was often limited to white men over the randomly designated age threshold who also owned sufficient property to prove they weren't filthy poors getting the pure temple of democracy all grubby. They did not however have to show ID.

you know who I don’t mind in my neighborhood?

I prefer the more radical and cruel solution of putting every member of the Trump administration on trial. Long and protracted trial, where most are detained in places like the Metropolitan Correctional Center, while motions and appeals grind on for years.

One of every thousand American residents has been taken into custody by ICE in the last year.
A stunning detail the ICE chief shared in this hearing that was supposed to be a brag, except it isn't: ICE has arrested 379,000 people between Jan. 2025-Jan. 2026 -- but only 8,700 were suspected gang members or known suspected terrorists.

That's 2%! www.huffpost.com/entry/latest...

It's a once in a lifetime chance. They've spent, in most cases, dozens of years training for this, dedicating their lives to this moment, because the difference between gold and nothing may be a 1% difference.

There's nothing "extreme" about not wanting to lose a gold medal because you had a cold.

Hmong are a persecuted minority in every state in Southeast Asia they live in. The opportunity to come live in peace in Minnesota was a reward from the United States government for meritorious service at immense personal cost.

Now, that same government is arresting them on the streets for nothing.
Remember this innocent man? He buried his mother today, a Hmong war hero nurse who tended to countless American soldiers in Laos, as well as the wounded Hmong soldiers who came to their aid when their aircraft was shot down. www.twincities.com/2026/01/19/s...
