They granted us privileges and permissions, not rights. Privileges and permissions can always be revoked at any time.
Black people had to fight in the courts for a century after slavery to get our basic rights in America. White people simply decided “DEI is racist” and with a snap of a finger all the equity programs are gone. Nobody had to go to court,nobody had to prove disparate impact… just vibes.
