Embarrassing to see adults talk to robots in a public forum. That'd be like if your friend asked a mailbox for directions once. You'd roast him for decades for that shit. Every time the concept of navigating space came up you'd hit him with "Why don't you ask the mailbox?"

2026 watch #29: Dracula (2025)

Dracler was, at his heart, a wife guy, who invented The Perfume That Makes You Do The Thriller Dance. They made a Harker with fewer survival instincts than ever before. Somehow more horny nuns than Black Narcissus.

A decent enough mockumentary, but don't see if it you're at all epileptic.

I must acknowledge part of the charm of the original 70s muppet show is they were so broke (and had to film in ENGLAND!) that the guest stars were there for the love of it and their admiration of Jim Henson.

THAT SAID: give Kermit the ICE budget. For a better brighter world.
production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like “ratings” or “revenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

The funny thing about “entitled” as a political insult is that we are entitled — to living wages and healthcare, to safety for ourselves and those around us, to respect, to dignity, to compassion. And we should act like it instead of clapping for crumbs and accepting perpetual desperation.
if it's not self aggrandizing doing nothing, it's being snippy with anyone who asks them to do their job as "entitled"

This is bleak: Jes Staley, currently CEO of Barclays, reassuring Epstein that popular revolt against financial elites is unlikely because capitalism and pop culture have defanged social movements, leaving people more invested in consumption than justice.

You’re not crazy. The anti-trans movement is not organic; it was funded by pedophilic billionaires like Jeffrey Epstein who backed a network of conservatives to accuse the same people they were sexually abusing of being the real danger. @madycast.com exposes the truth in our in-depth report.

This is manifestly evil behavior
Metry and her husband of 4 years go to DHS to get their I-130 in motion. "Good news" a DHS employee told them, the form to start her naturalization was approved.

DHS employee asks the husband to follow him through a secure door. When it locks behind him, ICE detains his wife to deport her.
EXCLUSIVE: Terez Metry was 13 when her family fled to Tennessee from Egypt in 2011. Then, they left her behind. She only recently discovered she had an order of removal from 2011. But she was following the legal path to citizenship. On Monday, at a routine DHS meeting, Metry was detained.
