That's why you should just use the mean instead of the average
Wait, georgia's governor is Brian Kemp, isn't it? Not quite a democrat
Trump will invade Georgia like Putin invaded Crimea to get access to a big port
The thing about short stories is that there are a lot of things that are typical for them but the only real requirement is the length. But I definitely also had teachers who'd view these typical things as required. I guess being like "a short story is a story that's short" is not complex enough
Which is 25% the height and weight of a fullback
We don't know how *they* made Greek Fire, but we know how to make incendiary weapons. E.g. Napalm does exactly the same things as Greek Fire.

And making a nuke is not super complex. There is a lot to optimize but if you just want a nuclear explosion, the hardest part is enriching the material.
5 years after Kissinger took it and Le Duc Tho refused because there was no peace yet, because the price was given to both Kissinger and him, the aggressor and the victim, and because peace was only reached because the aggressor was beaten by the victim. Today we'd call that whitewashing
To be fair, she is probably funded by the US and definitely was in the past, and has said nice things of Trump. This is more a compromize pick than a "fuck Trump"
It's a military facility inside a US military base, it's gonna be staffed with Qatari soliders and will have US soliders around it.
It officially is "a major non-NATO ally" since 2022. That was under Biden.
The US also has 2 airbases in Qatar. Of course they are an ally.
Lots of US airbases outside of the US. The real question is, why would anybody want an airbase on US soil. Are the Qataris gonna need to defend their freedom against Canada or Cuba?
If it can do nothing, it will inevitably fail. That makes people feel good. It also gives you a feeling of superiority for not falling for a big scam, which is not entirely unwarrented.

You mentioned hype, and a similar dynamic can exist for disliking something, especially as a reaction to hype
I think MAGA and the Trump crowd are somewhat better equipped to deal with this because there are very few expectations on anyone to not be blatantly corrupt and operate for their own immediate financial benefit.
There is shelf-stable milk, and IIRC America produces that different then europe, in a way that creates more butyric acid, which is why American chocolate tastes so rancid.
I think this was the other side of it. He had some leverage on Bibi for attacking Qatar, and he appeased Qatar with this
I think they had some early on in forged in fire but ultimate it was too big a risk for the reputation
Is this like when a stadium is named after a sponsor?
I think there are some tools for editing movies (e.g. for marking something on screen you wanna edit so you don't spend as much time tracing around the edges of an object you wanna hide), that use neural networks and could be considered AI, and i think that's fine and good. But bigger stuff? Nope

NEW: Since October 2023, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit has released dozens of 3D animations illustrating alleged Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iranian sites

The style is now unmistakable: satellite zoom-ins, black & white wireframes, and red-textured houses - a new visual language of war

The TikTok outlines that a specific goal of these animations is to multiply their reach by cultivating secondary coverage

And indeed, dozens of major outlets like BBC, CNN and Sky News have aired them, in part or in full, often without context

Many of these “illustrations” aren’t based on verified intelligence at all.

Our analysis of 43 official IDF videos found recycled 3D environments, spatial inaccuracies, and assets lifted from unrelated artists and institutions.
That's one way to say "looks like Israel lied and wants to keep the war going, just like they did the last time there was a ceasefire"
I'm sure somebody has done it. The translations would be into current English as opposed to 200-year-old German, that alone should help. And if the translator's primary goal is to get across the meaning of the original, they definitely can produce a translation that's easier to read.
