What’s the point of having a judicial system when Trump is going to pardon anyone that is indicted or convicted by a jury of their peers?

this is a completely unserious, bullshit plan, and everyone should say so
Hawley is pitching his colleagues — and Trump — on a new health care plan that would allow all tax payers to deduct up to $25K/person in medical expenses.

Hawley told us he recently discussed the idea with Trump: “I said...'no taxes on tips, no taxes on health care’, and he goes ‘oh I like that."

I just drove! In serious snow (esp since a lot of areas between me and the Whole Foods haven't been cleared yet).

The car held up, the parka kept me toasty, the boots kept my feet dry but I was not at all prepared for not being able to see the lines delineating different lanes on the road.

Excellent analysis today from @atrupar.com in PN:

The GOP "has done untold damage to the nation over the past two and a half decades, particularly during its domination by Trump. America would probably be far better off sending it into the dustbin of history."

Republicans are going to lose the House and they know it.
A recap of tonight's special election in TN-07 (plus a WAY-TOO-EARLY model of the 2026 midterms).

A swing of 13 points would put Dems over 250 seats in the U.S. House. A more reasonable scenario—say, D+6—still gives them the House, and maybe the Senate.

What the special election in Tennessee's Seventh District means for the 2026 midterms
Republicans held a Trump +22 seat — but by only 9 points. A swing half as large would give Democrats the U.S. House in 2026, and put the Senate clearly in play

considering how Trump 2.0 seems genuinely incapable thus far of offering anyone other than their inner circle carrots - only sticks!!! - I guess I’ll believe that they’ll actually do this when I see it

(And even then, I don’t think a check is enough to save their public polling)
Genuinely the only move I think is plausible and could at least tilt in his favor is big stimulus checks with his signature on them

Even if the boat itself was made of drugs, this was still murder.
Rand Paul just posted this letter from the Coast Guard confirming that 1/4 of the boats they stop carry no contraband. The likelihood that Hegseth & Bradley ordered the murder of innocent civilians is very high.

It really isn’t said enough how much these people straight up hate America. People should say this a lot more frequently. They simply don’t like the good parts of modern American life.
"Sources in the Trump administration have previously told Zeteo that officials will at times intentionally use popular music from vocally anti-Trump performing artists, in order to trigger a negative response from a famous liberal and provide further amplification of their pervasive culture war,"
NEWS: The Trump-Vance White House is attacking Sabrina Carpenter.

In a new statement, the White House — led by Trump, a liable sexual abuser mired in scandal for ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — suggests Carpenter is "stupid" and is defending pedophiles and rapists.

It would be kind of hilarious if the GOP did all this redistricting and gerrymandering to eliminate democratic districts then lost a bunch of the safe districts they created.
A big blue wave is building in backlash to the regime. The fact that Republicans had to fight so hard to defend a Trump +22 district is more very bad news for MAGA. No amount of gerrymandering can stop what’s coming in November. The American people are sick and tired of Trump’s chaos and corruption.

Woah. Newsmax’s legal analyst just said Pete Hegseth and everyone involved in the illegal boat strike should be “prosecuted for a war crime.”

They’ve even lost Newsmax on this one.
