Pokémon Gold & Silver is 25 years old and to this day I’m amazed by the game. A stunning achievement for small form handheld gaming. In an era of Metal Gear Solid and 3D Final Fantasy games Pokémon GS delivers a bunch of all-time gaming moments. The region reveal and the top of Mount Silver are 🤯.

The go-to defense I’ve seen is to tell the broke people they’re idiots being manipulated by the top class to attack other classes. Like broke people didn’t already know that. But if your idea of struggle is “we can only fly the family to Disney World every OTHER year now” you’re not broke. 🤦‍♀️
