It's the beginning of the letters page for issue 12, at least within the U.S. edition.

I'm not sure if this is the part you're referring to but it sounds like the success of this arc determines whether they go past 16.
Page from issue 12 of "The Power Fantasy" which includes the description
It's also a crucial arc - it's basically where we decide if we want to go further or wrap at 16. It's a good ending at 16, but clearly there's much more we'd like to show, and it'd be a shame not to. Sales are fine, but there's a difference between "fine" and "able to go for 30+ issues."

In Final Fantasy Tactics if a unit gains too much faith they leave your party to go find God. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you had Beast Tongue and got a monster unit to maximum faith? Of course you haven't. No one has.

Still in awe of this statement that DHS gave me in response to a lawsuit by a U.S. citizen who was arrested twice by ICE officers, quite obviously because he was a Latino construction worker reason.com/2025/10/01/i...
Screenshot of article text: In a statement provided to Reason, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin called Venegas' lawsuit "baseless" and said it was "race-baiting opportunism" that contributed to an alleged 1,000 percent increase in assaults on ICE officers.

"Allegations that DHS law enforcement officers engage in 'racial profiling' are disgusting, reckless, and categorically FALSE," McLaughlin said. "What makes someone a target for immigration enforcement is if they are illegally in the U.S.—NOT their skin color, race, or ethnicity. Under the fourth amendment of the U.S. Constitution, DHS law enforcement uses 'reasonable suspicion' to make arrests. There are no 'indiscriminate stops' being made. The Supreme Court recently vindicated us on this question. DHS enforces federal immigration law without fear, favor, or prejudice."

The DHS Office of Public Affairs did not respond to a follow-up questions of why, then, Venegas was targeted if he was a U.S. citizen and what reasonable suspicion officers had to detain him twice, including after he presented a valid ID.

As anyone who has had a landlord can tell you, the worst landlords are not huge, faceless property management entities with a professionalized staff, nor a homeowner renting their basement unit, but the small-capitalist landlords in between.

i am reminded of when matt stoller lost his mind over this column, and saw it as evidence of my “pro-corporate” bias. he literally could not grasp the idea that the smallness of a business does not necessarily alter its relationship to production or to the workers it employs

Nothing more embarrassing to be than an ICE agent.

"Oh, you've got a big day at work? Do you have to stand around an elementary school awkwardly waiting to separate a family? And that's your job? You get paid to do that? And I'm sure you show your face. Oh, you don't? Why not? Is this shameful?"

As much as I enjoyed those sketches when they aired, they didn't actually cost the network close the advertised amount, did they? It felt like a funny bit you can do on the way out but not an actual representation of what he could force the network to provide.
