I sort of wish y'all took this more seriously, because this attitude is a reinforcement of heterosexuality as a hierarchy. It's an acknowledgement and understanding that it's not enough to "be with" a woman, or even to father children.

Honestly, seeing Labour's fash horrorshow in the UK has made me rethink what would happen if Harris had won here last year (and I didn't think it was going to be good before) especially as she and her clique were extensively looking to Labour figures for advice.
An underrated factor in why folks ain't buying the whole "you must vote for this slightly less obvious rancid bigot" schtick anymore is that there's a major, ongoing example across the Atlantic of libs and centrists rapidly and vindictively enforcing fascism.

"Biological people" was always where this eugenicist rhetoric was headed - ie "biological women", "biological pronouns" - because they genuinely don't believe trans people are even human. This dehumanizing language is essential for them to paint trans people as genetically incompatible with society.
