I likeit that he's not a conventional, handsome film-star lead. Of course Hillier isn't conventional either!

I would watch the hell out of that! (It's one of my favourite movies.)

Verlangst du nicht nach einem Besenstiele?
Ich wünschte mir den allerderbsten Bock.
Auf diesem Weg sind wir noch weit vom Ziele.

When I was a kid, and an avid reader, and found a book I liked, I would always go out and find more books by the same author. Or I'd ask for them as birthday presents. So the love yournew book is getting may well rub off

I probably don't have many local contacts on here, but anyway... this is the concert I'm giving in aid of the Milton Keynes Cancer Centre on 4th October at Stantonbury Theatre with the fabulous Charlie Lovell-Jones. The Filgrastim Philharmonia is named after a chemo drug. Details in the alt text.

I downloaded a PDF of the score of a Haydn symphony recently (don't worry - out of copyright!). A message poppoed observing that this was a very long document and would I like a summary of it? I resisted the temptation.

This is just to say

We have eaten
the plums
that were on
your tree

and which
you were probably
hoping
to live to eat yourself

Forgive us
they were delicious
so sweet
and you are now so cold

last night as i was trying to wind down for bed i had a unified theory of what the fuck just happened, and i wrote it down, and filed it under "well, i can't talk about this on main without sounding insane until and unless the perp gets caught and is provably a groyper"

anyways, great news! (1/X)

Imagine the message it would send if Gary Lineker won 'Presenter of the Year' at this year's National Television Awards

Standing up for compassion & the right to speak out

And, the feathers it would ruffle

My lovely followers, you know what to do:

The Labour response to Farage policy of leaving the Refugee & Humam Rights Convention should not be “he won’t deliver”.

It should be “this is not morally right” (not “British values” even).

Voters want to see authentic consistent leadership. Not debate the workability of cruelty.
