I know the admin wants to pick some of these pop culture fights as part of their culture war trash, but I really wonder how things will go when they go after pop stars who aren’t afraid of being political. They’ve benefited from a lot of stars trying to take the Michael Jordan approach.

Many journalists are tracking the procurement and deployment of new technologies and tactics, but it's hard to get the entire picture. A generational threat to civil liberties that I suspect future governments will struggle (or refuse) to roll back. Dramatic reform/abolition will be required.

Appreciate that this is specific to Trump’s governing style, but we should probably be honest about the fact that a majority of those factories aren’t getting made under a more steady tariff regime either.
