I've probably already said this 50 times, but I'll say it again.

The Expanse is an absolutely stellar work of SF television. They really smashed it out of the park with this one.

It takes making ONLY $2,000 USD a YEAR to be kicked off Medicaid in America. How is that helping ANYONE get a job?

How terrifying.

Yes this is a vagueskeet while watching a family member step into the gig economy of America with fingers crossed.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

But this is not really about 3D printing so much as it is about community.

People don't think about protests clearly enough. On one hand, *it was bad* that Alabama police brutally assaulted Selma marchers for obvious reasons. On the other hand *it was good* that the organizers were able to successfully provoke a brutal and unsympathetic public assault.

For The Ringer, I wrote about how amazing it was that the brilliant Catherine O'Hara finally became a superstar in her 60s, and how sad it is that she was taken from us just when we had all finally begun to appreciate her:
Catherine O’Hara Could Do Anything
And she pretty much did everything. The only tragedy is that it feels like she was just beginning to get the recognition her decades-long career always deserved.
