I think the worst part about defending Disney adults is when people assume you're also one.
I'm not, but I also think it's a pretty silly thing to get in a tizzy about. I think people are pretty irrational about their hate for adults who like Disney.

Wouldn't it make more sense if that entire stretch from confusion corner to Assiniboine or even Broadway was just a pedestrian thoroughfare?

People hate on the Star Wars prequel trilogy a lot, but seeing the Phantom Menace in theatres at five years old was a pretty sick introduction to the franchise.
The prequel trilogy gave us Jedi in their prime and we got to see their sick moves.
That was pretty cool!
