You need to listen to it once completely through while driving a car alone. Then you have to
listen to it indoors lying down. THEN you pick a few and listen to them WHILE you read the lyrics on your computer. You WILL find that you misheard some of the lyrics. DONT panic. Its COMPLETELY normal and healthy. DONT think about taylors life yet and DONT try to make sense of the lyrics and DONT panic if you dont like some of the songs at first bc your brain will LEARN to like them (evolutionary mechanism).
THEN, continue listening on loop as needed but have 2-3 that you sometimes just listen to on repeat. THEN re-emerge into the world and connect with others about their response to the text. THEN apply practically to your life. THEN examine how they fit into taylors. At this point you can start to lightly engage in online discourse if that feels healthy and safe.

taking my mind off things by getting into obscure, aesthetically-pleasing camo patterns

1) Mitchell "Vine Leaf" (USA, 50s)
2 "Leaf Spring" (Romania, 90s)
3 "Grassland" (Dem. Rep. of Congo, 2010s)
4 "M90" (Sweden, 90s)

Mitchell "Vine Leaf," or "Wine Leaf" camo pattern. The first camo pattern adopted by the US Army. Remarkably figurative by modern standards, it depicts branches and leaves, somehow making it appear more twee and less ferocious and militaristic than most camo patterns.

Romanian soviet-era "spring leaf" camo, a green and yellow pattern that almost looks like it belongs on a Hawaiian shirt, or like a tablecloth from Anthropologie or something.

Congo "Grasslands" pattern, used by DRC Presidential Guards starting around 2010, is highly aesthetic, thanks to its figurative depiction of fern-like branches and leaves in overlapping and alternating colors.

Swedish "M90" camo pattern, uses large, distinctive angular "splinter" shapes, that almost harken back to "dazzle" camouflage techniques once used on warships.

i've been using insta more like a website that i have to update with art projects once or twice a year (quit tik tok and reels cold turkey bc it was sapping my time and energy away from touching grass)
