ice was in elgin today. on tuesday, ice kidnapped people from chicago’s hermosa neighborhood as well as the suburbs of bolingbrook (west) and waukegan (far north). last week, feds in six vehicles abducted an adult and three kids from near their home in woodlawn.

this just reminded me: I had a very vivid/distressing dream this morning that I had a pet lizard (sorta bearded dragon–iguana combo) named Elizabeth who liked to hang out on my shoulder & the family cat (who does not exist) attacked her & chewed off one of her legs & an arm but she was ok? Sort of?
