As a lawmaker, when you're beholden to corporate special interests, it's harder to put your constituents first and fight corruption.

That's why @pkryan.bsky.social and @deluzio.house.gov don't take any money from corporate PACs.

Fresh from their six-week paid vacation, Speaker Johnson finally swore in Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva. A majority of the House has signed the discharge petition for full release of the Epstein File. Let’s vote.

The central question in American politics is simple.

Do you stand with forgotten Americans or the Epstein class?

That's it.

🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.

Other folks have said it, but let me just note that:

(1) lots of talented, must-read journalists have been let go from their jobs over the last year

(2) millions of Americans are abandoning current media outlets and looking for new alternatives

Seems like a sure-fire business opportunity here?

This is Angel Falls in Venezuela, with its 807-metre sheer plunge - the tallest waterfall on our planet.

Except - it isn't. There's one that's bigger. MUCH bigger. And when I learned about it this week, my mind was fully blown.

OK. Buckle up! (Especially if you don't have a head for heights.)

It's been 2 years since this book was published and, as usual, there's an uptick in sales given what time of year it is.

If you want to get a gift for someone AND support independent creators, have I got a book for you.

Plus: CUTIE PUPPIES!

Reposts _greatly_ appreciated.
I LOVE YOUR DOG! — How to Yell at Strangers in a Socially Acceptable Way — Matthew Oliphant
This book is actually a manifesto—but not the kind that can get you thrown into jail, ideally, for our sake. The main premise is: Dogs are great! Reminding each other of that on a daily basis spreads ...

Authoritarianism can only succeed when democracy fails to deliver for working people.

Authoritarian parties can only succeed when the pro-democracy parties fail to fight for working people.

We need a new democracy and a new party system which can represent working people.

Went to a great talk the other day where the speaker referred to "Watson, Crick, and Franklin" nucleotides & let's all adopt that terminology

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

AND FURTHERMORE - (Hi, this is your county chair, Sasha) I have my calendar cleared from March 1-April 11 which is when the C&A cycle runs, and I would truly love to be absolutely wrecked at the end because we had to process so much data because SO MANY DEMS SHOWED UP STATEWIDE.

Please show up.
As an example: the last time I caucused for a candidate, there were three people there for my district. We were electing five representatives. Me showing up, by myself, got two reps for the candidate I was caucusing for.

Democrats can't defeat Trump-MAGA authoritarianism without an agenda that stands squarely on the side of working people.

We need a pro-worker, pro-democracy, anti-establishment movement that will take on oligarchy like never before.

It starts with the party rejecting Big Money.

Avi Loeb continues to claim that 3I/ATLAS has many anomalous behaviors that lead to the conclusion that it “might” be an alien spacecraft.  He carefully hedges the probability that it is a spacecraft ...
