[It's maybe a little bit repeating the joke, but I think it warranted the actual image]

Happy 40th Anniversary of Rorschach seeing the city‘s true face to those who celebrate
The first panel of the comic “Watchmen.”

On the top of the panel, text reads “Rorschach’s Journal. October 12th, 1985. Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face.”

The rest of the panel depicts an extreme closeup of a city street where a pool of blood runs off into a gutter. On the edge of the gutter there is a yellow smiley face button marred by a single drop of blood that partially obscures one eye.

Giving Batman: White Knight another try, not because I expect it to be good, but it’s interestingly bad. And it’s good Murphy is a stylish artist, because the writing is like a Cinema Sins “Everything Wrong With Batman” video, except self-important and tedious instead of painfully unfunny

Forgot the alt text. It's Geoff the Skeleton Robot from the Craig Ferguson Late Late Show saying "Careful Icarus"

My bête noire is the "you must play 5 cards" boss. I've killed some good runs by robotically playing high-scoring 2 pairs on that boss without adding a throwaway card

I could be wrong, but as far as I know Vic is the only confirmed Philadelphian major character on Trek. At the very least, he's responsible for the only Trek episode where character actor Mike Starr beats a man with a cheesesteak

I like how the news will be like “while the President claiming Portland was ruled by a giant skeleton named Mr Nibbles is not strictly true, it does speak to the anxiety of many Americans”

Compared to Dylan and Springsteen, country-music legend Johnny Cash can seem deeply uncool. It took time for me to appreciate his profound, plainspoken strength, writes Jon Fasman.

Growing up, my impression was Dylan and Springsteen, despite being beloved artists and incredible talents, both seemed corny in their own ways, but that Cash was purely cool

Not much of a Jesus guy, but I always thought the flames on the head and speaking many tongues bit slapped back in Catholic school and CCD. A sequel to a movie about the Passion isn't a bad idea, speaking purely dramatically. The resurrection is just a solid story. All the same, fuck Mel Gibson.

I'm not sure this is any less doofusy a position than people who are disappointed because they thought he had a moral compass and good judgement, but it's at least differently doofusy

My thing with Bill Burr was that I thought it was useful to have someone with his appeal and audience in the comedy world in a mild Joe-Rogan-of-the-left kind of way, even if he wasn't sincere or anything. He was good at it. Now not so useful. Fuck him.

Sometime last year, someone remarked that Drake lost his battle with Kendrick worse than rap beefs where people actually died and that’s a WILD thing to say

and yet….
