Yep, just like the LNP, Labor like to commit their unlawful acts in private without the public knowing what they are doing. Just have a look at what they are doing to the unemployed and those receiving social security payments. Why do Labor hate the poor so much? They are no different to the LNP now

One of the messages of Rick Morton's 'Mean Streak' was the need to hold senior public servants to account. The response of the current government has been to make it easier for them to hide.

If you don't want your decision-making made public, don't accept a public service job.

That said, there are so many who remember what it is like or have the empathy to see and understand and the advantages to take a stand. I'm thinking of Community Indies Mon from Kooyong; Rural ppl like Cathy McGowan/Tony Windsor. There is quite a list now - supported by ppl with lived experience

When I was in my 60's on the dole went from being respectable older lady to being treated like a thieving, drug taking too lazy to work bludger. Big money is made by Job Agencies & their useless courses whilst others scratch to survive.

ALP is his principal loyalty & focus - instead of people of Australia.

Labor's resistance to demand for transparency suggests a bigger issue
Embedded power structures & governance norms that undepin the Labor party, & default negotiation habits of pre-digital career MPs, are ensconced in opaqueness.
