This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

Capitalists have always run the world at the expense of the working class. They fund both sides of every war, and profit from crimes against humanity. Ideology and religion persuade markets far less than naked opportunism when it comes to profit
Trump and his family are in business with Russia and the Gulf Arab states to loot and plunder, and destroy the West and our democracies along the way.

It's Bond Villain level stuff, and we should be fighting it with everything we got.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

This is a perfect example as to why we need AI regulation yesterday.

AI cannot be the arbiter of whether human beings can live or die. This is an excuse for insurance companies to fire human workers and make our healthcare system even more nightmarish for a quick buck.

Again: the Purpose of LLM- type "AI" bullshit engines is not to tell you the truth or to lie to you, but to tell you something you are statistically determined to be more likely to accept, irrespective of facts— which makes them perfect for accelerating dis- & misinformation & persuasive propaganda…
AI dialogues shifted political support by 2 to 3 points in trials, eclipsing standard ads. Roughly one-third of this effect persisted for a month. However, models optimized for persuasion proved more factually error-prone.

AI chatbots can persuade voters to change their minds
Conversations with AI can sway people’s political views. Concerningly, a chatbot’s facts are not always accurate, especially when it supports right-wing positions.

Notable that POTUS is posting a Fox News story about the USCG disabling and interdicting a vessel suspected of carrying drugs.

Demonstrates his awareness of alternatives to blowing up suspected drug boats.

And that killing people is very much a deliberate and completely unnecessary choice.
