🗣️📣Let the administration know how you feel about them restricting COVID-19 vaccine access under the false pretense that the vaccine may not be safe. Comment period ends in 3 days.

Please read and share this whole thread. It is important. As Alyssa points out, this is the thin end of the wedge. The goal is lowering all vaccine uptake and production which will (and has already started to) destroy herd immunity for other serious, once-nearly-vanished, diseases. Take action now.
“But you can still get the shot if you are at risk.” Oh really? Where? Who will be placing orders for vaccines that are no longer accessible? How many will they order if they order any at all? And how hard will people work to find them? And then what will uptake stats look like? See how it works?

If you think COVID vaccines should continue to be available to all: take 5 min and add your comments at the link below. (Advice for what to say in the linked thread.)

The U.S. remains in a moderate lull between COVID-19 surges.

Also, FDA leaders just announced future COVID-19 vaccines will be limited to those over age of 65 and with health conditions that put them at “high risk for severe COVID-19,” until further clinical trials can be conducted. bit.ly/43l9XxI

this, like the trans panic, show billionaires can sway public opinion significantly by hiring fake experts and inundating the population with their desired messaging. it’s a huge problem and one i’m not sure how to contend with as of yet
Good God, vaccine hesitancy has gone from 12% to 26% among Republican parents in the last four years.

When people keep asking, “What can I do?” when referring to improving the state of the world, you can wear a mask. It’s one of the easiest ways to protect minorities and create community care. It also shows noncompliance. You want to be a revolutionary? Wear a mask!

The retroactive recasting of the early COVID restrictions into a police state with draconian implementation is but one of many low-level individual annoyances/grievances magnified by the right into societal opposition, then made manifest by those that can no longer even remember baseline reality…
Also America did not have long or onerous lockdowns, I am going to lose my mind
Posting about the 'laptop class' or 'PMCs' is the class analysis of fools. Scratch the surface and its really about disdain towards women and feminised men. Also, as with any complaints about how COVID was handled, kids being slightly ahead in school isn't worth trading for a single human life.

One of the simplest radically rebellious things you can do — you, right now! — is wear a mask in public. Show people you think they’re worth protecting. Show people you’re willing to resist the social pressure to pretend things are normal. It’s good hygiene and good practice for other resisting.
