Hasan Piker was banned from Twitch yesterday. Today, he livestreams on YT (which he never does) to 95,000 viewers. He peaks closer to 70K on Twitch.

He discussed how he's going to get some contingency plans together in case Twitch continues to ban him for speaking out against Zionism/ICE.

If there's one trait the Irish are universally known for, it's being welcoming. By eroding that, our racist leadership are undermining our national identity. We're less Irish for having left these cruel men lead us. We're indistinguishable from the colonisers.

This goes beyond national scandal.

Tis is an international case of healthcare system withholding fundamental human rights.

In the years to come this will be written with the same scornful shame that we use to talk about mother-and-baby-homes.

The blood will forever stain the hands of the NGS.

If you wanted to "clean up" social media, you could start by enforcing laws and regulations governing tech platforms. That would be messy, awkward, and might achieve something.

No, instead, this government is introducing new laws to monitor what citizens say and do online.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

Your reminder that racism and fascism are inherently anti-democratic ideologies, and thus are owed nothing by democrats or democratic systems.
Under no circumstances do you have to "hear them out", nor should anything be changed to suit them. Ever.
A lot of the spoiled ballots I saw while tallying were very explicitly and forcibly racist. When the talking heads from Iona and Aontú say that FF and FG need to court their votes, that is who they are talking about.
The girls at the count centre were laughing at all your pathetic spoiled ballots, btw.
