Elon Musk publicly slandering that cave diver as a "pedo guy" after he begged Jeffrey Epstein for island party invites is just incredible

Tesla bet big on Elon Musk. His politics continue to haunt it.
Tesla struggles to regain its footing in the electric vehicle market, hindered by Elon Musk’s political activity, impacting its stock price and performance.

Yes. A good number of them in the APS ranks (primarily outside of the EL and SES bands) are doing thankless but important jobs.

Gross. Seems Russians are buying decent prosumer network gear for their war, the same stuff we use at home, and #Ubiquiti seems to not give a crap - but has a history of not giving a single crap in this area.

Something must be really happening in Perth’s north at the moment.

I’ve been on a scooter going up the freeway PSP for the last 20min, and no less than five separate police cars travelling under the category one conditions, have been blasting up the freeway going ful tilt.

It would be nice if this ART review results in this app finally being put to death, and them moving over to TOTP support; but until then - any support you can provide I’m sure would be appreciated.

Hey #opensource and #freedom lovers in #australia . You need to hear about @[email protected] 's request to get the source code for the MyGov token app. https://openmygov.au/ He needs funding: https://www.pozible.com/project/mygov-app-source-code-foi-review-1/updates Why does this matter? Because you trust the MyGov token app to secure your access to MyGov services. It _should_ be a very simple thing to do - there are already well known public standards for implementing this. But then, if that's the case, why are Services Australia claiming that this would 'endanger national security' to release the source code? Let's hope it's as simple as: because someone might get embarrassed to have their code published. Because at the moment it's going to cost Fraser a fair bit of money to get anywhere on the appeal to the Administrative Review Tribunal, especially when they decide that this is so secret that it has to be discussed under the "Intelligence and Security Jurisdictional Area". Anything you can donate to help Fraser out helps here. Unfortunately, with Pozible, it's an all or nothing thing - either he makes his goal, or he gets nothing.

Uber vs. DoorDash deliveries for me today (an Aussie public holiday):

- DoorDash: Five deliveries in 3hrs (rejected an additional five as too far): $43.57 plus tips.
- Uber: No deliveries in three hours, no offers.

And these same people are most likely 2A absolutionists.

The cognitive dissonance is beyond surreal.
The same people who said that the mass murder of children in schools was a sad but necessary price to enable citizens to bear arms and oppose tyranny are now saying that if you carry a gun it’s your fault if you’re murdered.

This is a thoughtful thread, specifically about the BBC, but equally applies to its Australian equivalent -- and others.

False balance. Using the words of a fascist regime as a primary source, and failing to contextualise. A bitter betrayal of journalism and its consumers.
Thinking about the underlying notion of truth this morning. 🧵
The BBC coverage is absolutely terrible.

It leads on "sharply contested narratives"

It has a dramatic skew to the US government

It has posted the video but has failed to report on what it shows: it shows the US govt account is untrue

Have you ever wondered why the car lobby is always happy to respond to environmental claims, but you never hear them talk about obesity or public health? That asymmetry isn’t accidental. It’s a strategic choice about which fights they can survive.
