Wtf has happened to companies?

Had to make an insurance claim today, last time I claimed it was simple and easy - insurer did everything after I gave details.

Today (with the same company); total shit show. Had to notify insurer, then speak to courtesy car company, then speak to repair garage.

The calls from America this weekend to "abolish the EU" are for one simple reason: the EU is the only thing that can keep European nation-states from becoming Russian or American vassals.
The US has declared rhetorical war on the EU
The calls from America this weekend to destroy the EU are revealing. They hate the union because it's the only thing that can keep European countries from being Russian or American vassals.

USA's economic power stems from its military power. After WW2, USA set itself up as the free world's policeman, promising to protect the demolished countries of Europe, Japan and others in exchange for economic dominance. Now Trumpists want the economic dominance but without the military support.

Oh no, wait, I wrote it *two years ago* when it was blatantly obvious what was going on and how it would get much much worse.
