He had gathered child subjects w/ the help of anti-vaccine groups & a lawyer looking to profit from it. He falsified data.

It is now clear when Albo said "no-one left behind", he really meant:
- the gambling industry
- big media
- fossil fuel lobby
- for-profit childcare corporations
- aged care companies
- employment service providers
- property developers...

But Australians with the greatest needs? Yeah nah. #auspol
Gambling ruins lives. It is absolutely unacceptable that the Albanese government will continue to choose vested interests over the wellbeing of Australians and hide behind a watered-down policy - if they ever introduce one. We need action on gambling harms now.

Margaret Pomeranz remembers David Stratton: ‘I feel as though one half of me has gone’
Australia watched the pair discuss films for decades. Off screen, their friendship was one of deep respect: ‘I had his back, he had mine’ * Every cinephile in Australia wanted to be David Stratton. His passion was infectious – and his legacy lives on * David Stratton, esteemed Australian film critic, dies aged 85 * Get our weekend culture and lifestyle email I know I have been reticent about commenting on David Stratton’s death (he didn’t want to “pass”, he wanted to die – no euphemisms for him!). But apart from wanting to hug my grief to myself, I felt that it was his family who should be considered, not me. And if anyone should have a tribute it is Strats’ wife, Susie, who was the most wonderful support to him over these difficult years. I told him he was lucky to have married a younger woman! David was a stoic, he never wallowed in his deteriorating health. He continued to watch a new movie every day and revisit old favourites. He would enthuse about a new Australian film he’d just seen – he never lost that absolute passion for cinema.
