The RTÉ Archive is a 50 year, publicly owned and controlled repository of video, audio and documentation. Making it freely available online would create a deep well of trusted high quality info about our distant and recent past.

Ray McAdam has received several threats for insisting that Gavin Pepper follow proper procedure and behave in a civilised fashion at meetings. Pepper's response to being told about this was to say in the chamber that the mayor should be careful what he says in future.
