In the UK, over 25% of dogs are recorded as belonging to breeds with extreme conformation features - like flat-faced dogs which struggle to breathe & need surgery just to survive.

Honoured to join the All-Party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare Group to discuss the future of dog welfare. #APDAWG

Just like Nigel Farage, Suella Braverman idolises Donald Trump.

We can’t let them turn our United Kingdom into their version of Trump’s America.

The stronger our ties to our European partners are, the better.

Cutting-edge organisations based in Mid Sussex such as CSL Behring and Roche Diagnostics have had a harder time doing business since Brexit.

We should be doing everything we can to negotiate a bespoke customs union.

🗣️ Democracy denied YET again.

The government has confirmed the cancellation of West Sussex County Council elections for the second year running. This decision is not only hugely undemocratic but has been rushed.

Portugal is having a presidential election tomorrow (Sunday).

It is a fairly unusual one, which is representative of how much the political landscape has changed in the country.
