We’re gonna make that victimhood real in Reconstruction II. Representation weighted by population density. If you want a say in society you have to actually live in society.
The deck is stacked in about 10 different ways to give extra power and money to rural areas, but it's never enough. Right wing propaganda continues to tell them they are out upon victims powerless against the mighty cities.
Stage 5 pundit-brain is watching an innocent woman being killed by agents of the state and going, "hmm this says a lot about the urban-rural divide in America."

Have been consistently at the gym for 1 month now 3 times a week, except for the week of New Years where I went once. Lets see if I'll keep going.

Have also been running 3 times a week for like 3 months now.

Very underdiscussed on here just how pathetic of a campaign Andrew White ran.

He's the son of former TX Governor Mark White (from the 1980s), and did nearly win the Dem Primary for Gov in 2018.

His strategy before dropping out was to get Indys to vote in a Dem primary for him

Okay last time Ill discuss Gallego’s twitter posts, but is sending me that he knows this about Gunther Eagleman (generic fascist account) and replies with this half the times Eagleman replies to him.

What do you feel like are the most underrated animes out there?

For me, it'd be Golden Kamuy and Land of the Lustrous.

we have gone through to a mirror universe where instead of the government not caring about twitter because it isn’t real life, it doesn’t care about real life because it isn’t twitter

I don't have much hope of it actually happening even if/when Dems win back power, but is nice to see one Dem politician bring it up

Gallego has been posting about Trump's war with Venezuala.

I know that we were going in this direction, but still feels completely unreal that its actually happening. That we are invading another country. Just surreal and sickening.

Why cant some people just admit they’re wrong on a really small thing, and end up doubling, tripling, quadrupling down, which makes them look far dumber than if they just admitted to being wrong.

Omg first #blueanon post I've seen this year!
I’ll never ever believe that Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris lost their elections and Jack Smith’s damning testimony only helps to cement that for me.

Has there always been a new moral panic of the month in the past, pre-Trump, or is that a more recent phenomenon?

Had no idea who Brigitte Bardot was, but considering she’s an old French Woman, was not surprised whatsoever at the anti-Muslim bigotry.

Was super surprised at the homophobia and antifeminism though, considering that she was a French actress.

The 2002 Newark Mayoral Election — a contest between incumbent Sharpe James, seeking his fifth term, and one-term Central Ward Councilman Cory Booker — was a historic battle that pitted the longtime Boss of Newark’s political machine against a reformer seeking to end his reign.

I got an oil change for my car the other day, and there were some other problems that needed to be fixed (brake pads).

I told them I need to discuss it with my family first (meant my dad because he knows cars), and he said, “I understand, go home and discuss it with your wife”
