It was never about not liking things. It's OK to not like things, we're all human and all have things we don't enjoy!

But if I'm minding my own business enjoying my shit and you come into my space to tell me I'm stupid for it, yeah you can go fuck yourself. Sorry haters.

Completely lost on the 77M Americans who voted for this nightmare is that Habeas Corpus is a critical underpinning of our legal system.

We don't exist as a free society without the right to challenge unlawful imprisonment. It's crazy that 41% of Americans approve of this unlawful presidency.
Beyond your 6th Amendment right to an attorney, this seems like a violation of Article 1 protected Habeas Corpus rights. How can you file a Habeas petition if you’re held incommunicado?
Lawyers can't reach clients in ICE detention. I've heard it anecdotally, but scale of issue is horrifying.

Bloomberg Law is a legal trade pub so many may miss this. Screenshot from their CA newsletter summarizes "bleak" situation for justice and rule of law.

This is the Ur example of ‘the loser snuggle’. It often happens when guy you don’t like but are too polite/intimidated to brush off uses any pretext to koala-bear onto you & cop a feel/grind his pathetic little boner into any part of you he can reach.

Never watched much NXT so only saw Ciampa wrestle a couple of times. Liked him but knew he was an afterthought at the other place. But damned if I didn't tear up when he won 🤼 #AEW

we said all along that they wanted Gawker dead not because we embarrassed a pro wrestler but because the Epstein story is one Gawker was covering a decade before most other people caught up & was just one of many stories exposing powerful people and their misdeeds
Among the batch of newly released emails from Jeffrey Epstein: Epstein telling Peter Thiel he would “gladly share…expenses for the Gawker suit.”

This was sent the day after @rmac.bsky.social and @mattdrange.bsky.social reported in Forbes that Thiel was behind the lawsuit that would bankrupt Gawker

Gawker was sued out of existence by billionaires who didn't want to be investigated by really good journalists who had the perfect rolodexes to get dirt on a pervert cabal and maybe upend their whole new world order. It isn't a scandal sheet you dope.
Gawker is dead because it did not color inside the lines of the Constitution while doing the things that made people want Gawker dead. 🤷‍♂️ Lots of other scandal sheets are still around because they did that better.

We need to shut down the word "performative" until we can figure out what the hell is going on. Of course adopting symbols of protest and resistance is performative! Performance is a core strategy for mass movements!! That's why the call them demonstrations!!!
