The article👇is🎯 and easy to read and understand. A good resource to bookmark and share with folks.
Early in the pandemic, people fixated on disinfecting surfaces, assuming it prevented infection. While hygiene matters, SARS‑CoV‑2 spreads mainly through airborne particles. Much better to focus on ventilation, masks in enclosed spaces, and hand hygiene.

Once on Oahu a giant wave broke and slammed me on the shore. The weight held me down, the air knocked out of me, I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t breathe and if felt like forever before the water subsided. Friends overseas ask me what living here is like with Trump. I tell them that story.

This is straight-up Nazi rhetoric from Musk, and the only tiny thing I can do is address myself to those of you who are still on X. No more excuses about how you need "reach" or how good the conversation is there or the importance of debate. You will not regret walking away, and it's time.
We must speak plainly about the agenda Elon Musk & other MAGA leaders are pushing. It’s white nationalism.

There’s no room for Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native, Jewish or all other Americans in Musk’s monocultural vision.

Multiculturalism is superior. We can’t allow Musk & others to end it.

I just heard someone say on TV that use of the term "concentration camps" to describe ICE facilities was "very strong language."
I think ICE's concentration camps are very strong abuses of human rights.

Watch this clip of @booker.senate.gov masterfully question white nationalist Jeremy Carl. Even as Carl tries to distance himself from some of his own racist statements, he defends the white nationalist great replacement theory! (3:40 mark.) Very important to expose this.

My favorite thing about calling my rep about the SAVE Act was explaining - in detail - how many times my name has changed. And then asking him how many times his has changed. I tried to make my silence after his "none" as loud as possible.

Are people sicker now than in 2019?

Civil servants in England are.
Sickness absence rates have *risen by between 12% to 23% across the age groups*.

Are things getting worse?
It certainly looks like it.

This is exactly what we predicted repeat covid infection would do.

Playgrounds are such a big part of modern-day Pittsburgh that it’s easy to forget they’re a relatively recent invention. In 1896, the Civic Club of Allegheny County joined forces with education and social welfare groups to create the first playgrounds, all adjacent to schools, in the City. 🧵
