The Biden administration failed to hold Trump accountable and we are paying the price now.

States currently have the same opportunity and are following the same path as Biden.

Right and wrong matter more than decorum and civility.

Just read Armitage's book by the same name, below.
It's quite the read and perhaps the only way we can can truly fight back.
Soft Secession becomes the only hope when the federal government exists to facilitate Republican power grabs. Fascists control all three branches of the federal government and have a blank check to do anything they want to retain power.

3 infant #pertussis deaths this year in Kentucky. "Of the three infant deaths reported over the past 12 months, all three were not vaccinated, nor were their mothers."

We first tested maternal vaccination for whooping cough over 80 years ago. It's safe & effective & might have saved these babies.

BREAKING:

Sen. Elissa Slotkin says police responded to her home tonight in response to a bomb threat. Slotkin wasn't at home at the time.

This is two days after Trump said Slotkin and other Democrats committed "seditious conspiracy, punishable by death."

I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

If this extremely small number of people who didn’t vote in 2024 had voted for Harris, Trump wouldn’t be President right now and we’d all be happily bored when watching the news.

bsky.app/profile/thev...
Why do I say this?

Well, first of all, Trump would not even be President if just 1 out of every 11 registered voters in North Carolina who didn't vote along with 1 out of 17 registered voters in Georgia and Pennsylvania had voted for Harris instead of staying home.

One thing that's abundantly clear: passing the SAFE Research Act would permanently end the United States' ability to be competitive in any area of advanced technology. Just straight up suicidal policy-making.
This has gotten surprisingly little attention — it's not even on the front page of @science.org right now — but it's really hard to describe what the SAFE Research Act would do to US science and scientists without sounding insane
