I’m going to stick my neck out here and predict that the party currently banging on ever louder about Britain being a Christian country will say that bishops have no place in politics.

Thread would have fizzled out quickly if that Bury fan wasnt such a monumental arse.

Noted this morning Derek's thanks to the Leigh fans for behaving despite the apparently unfair claims that they would misbehave. The only person who threatened misbehaviour from Leigh fans was Derek. Deflection. Another one for the poundland trump list.

'The attention-seeking, the threats, the ego, the wild statements, the behaviour, the outbursts, the arguing on social media, the rails against media outlets, the lack of accountability and so on. The similarities are almost endless.'

The fact that he's equating stopping immigration with "saving this country's soul" should be disqualifying as a leader of a so-called left party. Its just Nazi shit

Horrible to read this. I wish our political class would stop being so obsessed by that site and allowing it to dictate policy and the direction of this country. It's owner promotes this behaviour.

For 56 minutes Sky News and BBC News interrupted everything else and carried a Reform UK feed live, uninterrupted, unchallenged. The stream spluttered, froze, pixelated - dozens of times - still they stuck with it. FOR ONE HOUR.

This is an editorial choice. No other party gets this coverage. ~AA

I'm old enough to remember when they used to go on about the importance of "balance". Whether they were talking Brexit, Covid, or climate change, we'd be presented with an expert "balanced" with a contrarian. These days we seem to skip the experts and just get presented with different contrarians...

2 correspondents are critiquing Ed Davies in real time today. Nigel Blackshirts party promotional broadcasts are repeated verbatim with no analysis. Its not even sly anymore.

It is possible to cherish the BBC as an institution while also saying that BBC News is failing very badly, day after day, in its duty to inform and that it always fails in a right-wing direction. It desperately needs to recover its integrity

A bunt equivalent in football is definitely those little disruptive knocks out for a throw or corner when you are defending which kill momentum. Extra points if off a long ball to the winger

Last year 100,000 people marched across London in support of nature and BBC News didn’t cover it, leading to complaints to Ofcom about political bias. Today BBC News covered a similar size march on front pages and every channel demonstrating fully its political bias. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Hard to take this seriously while yourself, the BBC and the Government stay addicted to twitter. People talk about brainrot and addiction in kids but it seems all that is doing is letting the adults off. Stop using it as a platform, you are all shouting into the void anyway.

So today, the USA government is going full ‘cancel culture’ & London is being turned into a ‘no-go zone’ for millions of its residents. And it’s all being done by people who profess to loathe both phenomena…

NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before.

Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.

You can escalate to ofcom if the bbc complaints service hasn't addressed your complaint. I urge you to do so instead of following up with the BBC.

No Libdems with 72 MPs.

Unfair and dangerous.

A mob of angry drunken men screaming abuse outside an asylum hotel have defended their actions, saying all they want is for women and girls to feel safe walking the streets.

From the new Private Eye, out now.

I look forward to Nadine Dorries squaring her frequent & frenzied attempts to get me fired for telling the truth about her absurdity & awfulness with her new party’s commitment to ‘free speech’.
