One of the (many) tragic ironies of American history is that, due to the use of enslaved laborers, white supremacy built the White House. So perhaps it's appropriate that white supremacy is demolishing it as well.

I mean no, not according to the law he couldn't. According to the law he would have to get congressional permission and several review boards would have to sign off and congress would have to allocate the money.

The problem isn't the law, it's that we are now living in a lawless state.

There is no difference between Trump destroying the East Wing and using a wrecking ball on the Washington Monument or Smithsonian. Just because he (temporarily) lives there doesn't give him the right to demolish the White House without Congressional approval.
