By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Some Dems have told themselves only ~1% of the population is trans so they can dip their toe in the anti-trans filth and come out clean.

I don't have any trans family members—but it still makes me irate. I see it as a huge red flag, a sign you are unprincipled and untrustworthy. And I'm not alone.

Timid Dems have totally misread public opinion on immigration. Trump has strong approval on "the border" b/c people think 1) that's where the chaos is and 2) he closed it and that's good. But they don't like what he's doing on immigration writ large. Which means there's plenty of room to attack him

In this one statement, Trump exhibits 7 of 9 symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and 6 of 7 for Anti-Social PD (sociopathy).

Perhaps. Maybe. Hard to tell.

The Sahm Rule focuses on the 3-month average unemployment rate, and asking if it's risen half a point above its year-long low.

The low was 4.0% in January.

The latest (average of Sept & Nov, with Oct missing): 4.5%.

That's +0.5%.
