also every website in america already has the infrastructure to do this in place, because its a legal requirement in calfiornia. they just turn it off for non-californians so they have to call instead.
i think it should be illegal for the boston globe to allow me to sign up for an subscription online but then make me call and speak with multiple people just to cancel the subscription.
