Something I feel like is lost in a lot of analysis of contemporary western politics is the degree to which the "center-left" of W. Europe has ceased to be a meaningful entity. I think one could argue- probably correctly- that PSOE and Podemos are closer in ideology than are PSOE and Starmer's Labour
