True, but even then, the video did not even show an impact that might have created a bruise to anything but his ego.

MAGA strategy:

1. Convince all white parents that they, too, must have "the talk" with their daughters

2. ?

3. Win elections

And whenever the Metro government does something good, the state usually enacts a new law saying, "Cities can't do that."

The bill isn't only about drag shows. It also applies to "printed" and "filmed" content, so it could very well apply to movie theatres, such as the Belcourt, and bookstores that sell banned books.

The bill isn't just about drag shows. It also includes "printed" or "filmed" material with sexual content, so movie theatres, such as the Belcourt, and bookstores would fall under the ban.

We're going back to the days when Ulysses, Howl, and Lolita were banned.

This is really cool. It feels important to add that, as reported in the news story, this research used a neural network tool called Pythia, specifically designed to work with peptide sequences & structures, and which is nothing like LLMs such as GPT.
Scientists have used artificial intelligence to create an enzyme that can eat one of the toughest plastics on Earth. The enzyme breaks polyurethane down into reusable chemicals in just 12 hours at 50°C, turning it back into raw materials. Truly circular recycling. buff.ly/oUxRjjl #ShareGoodNewsToo

This guy is seriously modeling his presidency on Pooh Bah from the Mikado.

And it's oh, I vow,
This deathly bow
Was a touching sight to see;
Though trunkless, yet
It couldn't forget
The deference due to me!
Q: "Do you believe that deadly force was necessary?"

Trump: "It was highly disrespectful of law enforcement. The woman and her friend were highly disrespectful of law enforcement…Law enforcement should not be in a position where they have to put up with this stuff."

First of all, good for her for calmly standing her ground and ignoring all the empty threats -- "we're gonna put you in the car and ID you!" -- until these goons give up and slink away.

Second, the irony of masked agents of the state with no name plates demanding *other* people identify themselves?

Congressional leaders are now looking to fund DHS with a continuing resolution because passing a full-year funding bill is almost impossible after the death of Renee Good

A continuing resolution keeps funding at previous year’s levels, would mean no longer increasing $$$ as previously sought
