That the press has largely covered Bad Bunny's halftime show as an issue of "both sides" rather than a stellar performance by one of the world's most popular entertainers -- and oh yeah, a small minority of whiny racists are big mad -- says everything you need to know about our media right now.

People keep sharing the most unhinged racist responses to Bad Bunny and I really don't know why. They are cowardly, miserable humans who are furious that not everyone is as cowardly and miserable as them.

Yeah it's like me pretending to like The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog when I was 8.
Pretending you enjoy Kid Rock to “own the libs” is diabolical actually, that’s got to be the clearest sign I have ever seen that it is a cult. Please free yourself.

High schools all over New Hampshire have been having walk outs. *New Hampshire* ok? This generation is letting this radicalize them.
in their walkout speech, Nathalie told their classmates,

"We’re being dehumanized and there’s nothing we can really do about it because we’re high schoolers... Not only are our parents being hunted, taken and kidnapped, but it’s also our little siblings being used as bait and then being taken."
These are the high schoolers taking a stand against ICE: ‘You can’t let despair take over’
Thousands of students across the US have been walking out of their schools to protest ICE in their communities

On the one hand, it seems like they fired almost everyone who can think critically, but on the other, that The Post would publish an “analysis” of an overtly political halftime show claiming it was apolitical demonstrates just how much things have changed. These people are rightfully afraid.
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

it’s easy and right to be mad or laugh at the 12 million people who watched the TPUSA halftime show but mostly it just makes me sad. all of those people just can’t accept that they aren’t the only people in the world

I enjoyed the NPR report this morning on congressional budget talks and how they include one side wanting the president’s personal paramilitary force to abide by the U.S. Constitution and the other side saying no, absolutely not.

I keep thinking about when Mike Johnson was asked about the NFL getting Bad Bunny to play the halftime show and he responded by saying they should find "someone who appeals to a broader audience" like... 82-year-old Lee Greenwood.

Really shows how much of a bubble the right lives in.

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was just outed as a friend and business partner of post-conviction Epstein and it's barely a headline.
