For 35 days the paychecks stopped, but you never did.

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you for doing the job anyway - without complaint and with the utmost professionalism.

For 5 straight weeks you have screened passengers, protected our leaders, patrolled borders, kept the nation's networks secure, and our homeland safe, knowing the money might be late but the mission never is.

That is patriotism.

I'm proud of you. The President is proud of you. The country is proud of you.

Your families deserve a special thanks for holding everything together at home while you held the line at work. Thank you.

It's impossible to overstate how much of what ICE is doing on the ground reflects this completely preposterous conflation of hostile *speech* and hostile *conduct.*

The First Amendment protects—or, at least, is supposed to protect—the former up and until it's a "true threat," which none of this is.

From Bovino's deposition: (1) he calls protestors "violent" if they articulate views hostile to ICE, even if no violence is manifested; (2) he instructs his forces to attack and arrest protestors who express "hyperbolic comments," which is to say, criticism of ICE and Bovino.

Trump says the SNAP money that he’s been ordered by a court to release won’t be released until the government shutdown ends.

Trump: SNAP BENEFITS, which increased by Billions and Billions of Dollars (MANY FOLD!) during Crooked Joe Biden's disastrous term in office (Due to the fact that they were haphazardly "handed" to anyone for the asking, as opposed to just those in need, which is the purpose of SNAP!), will be given only when the Radical Left Democrats open up government, which they can easily do, and not before! The Trump admin argued it CAN’T use the SNAP contingency fund even though its own guidance from Sep 30 said it could.

I explain why they can (and must) in the quoted thread.

Courts told Trump to pay SNAP benefits. Today he said he would not be paying benefits, despite the court orders.

Lots of wrong information coming from the Trump administration on SNAP "running out of money November 1" and the SNAP contingency fund.

The truth is:
1) It *can* be used to cover SNAP benefits during a shutdown.
2) It actually *must* be used to cover SNAP benefits during a shutdown.

Let's dig in.
