It’s weird how the “sexyback plays every time a character appears onscreen” meme goes away and comes back in greater numbers every few years.

Weirder for me to be the guy that did it first because my video wasn’t making me laugh until I added the music whenever Duke Devlin appeared.

Theuros and Avira both would be disliked for being too edgy and impulsive.
Avira being gay would be a huge issue for some, and Theuros being polyamourous would be a massive issue for some as well.
They both can come across as unwise and inconsistent in their choices, compared to more developed OCs.

What is “cringe”?

Honestly it depends who you ask, but it’s used to shame people for something they like or for being themselves. Saying something is cringe is positioned as maturity, being “too cool” and therefore employing bullying tactics to make others edit or reduce themselves into the mainstream or “normal”.

But that’s not what maturity is

Maturity is understanding that “normal” is relative. That sports and music are fandoms too. That bullying is a reflection of one’s own insecurities. Maturity is also understanding that constructing a persona to fit the mainstream is really just a sad waste of your very limited time on this Earth.

So be cringe.

Because life is too short for us to bully each other out of our passions and authentic self-expression.
