What bothers me is that impartiality and balance are two different and incompatible things. Impartiality means that you don't intervene to put your thumb on the scales. Balance necessarily requires that you intervene to artificially make every issue look like a 50/50.

On the last train up to Dublin (cursed already), which I had to get a Limerick-Thurles bus transfer for (extra cursed) but someone please explain why so many people appear to be just wandering up and down this train?!

I would like to cautiously report that it's over a week now since EP and I haven't come down with life-threatening flu, yet
It's not a EP experience if I don't come down with 2 weeks of the flu and a delusion-inducing fever cos my immune system can't cope with three nights sleeping on the ground in a crappy tent
