For a long time (longer than I care to admit), when I'd see "MTG" in the news or on social media, I'd pause in confusion:
"Why are they talking about Magic: The Gathering on CNN?"
While both are very unserious, only one has the Black Lotus and isn't leaving a toxic legacy. That feels important.
