Since the OP has limited comments I will specify here: I meant we have more guns in our population than pre-WWII Germany. There are absolutely more of us than there are of them, but words and chanting only goes so far if there's no force to back it up.

Yep. I remember when ICE was created and their reputation has long been as the most cold, uncaring, and vicious of the federal agencies (and I have no recollection of anything before that even though I know INS was in place historically).
