Yesterday, we stood receiving mourners for 4 hours, into the snowy evening.There were around 250-300 people, some still with their school district or BOCES lanyards on. Teachers, admins,superintendents, staff; volunteers, neighbors, friends- we listened to their grief & thanked them for coming.

I am outside Roosevelt now, my daughter goes there. Talked to staff, ICE was in a car pursuit of someone and they crashed and went up on school property. Teachers formed a circle around the person to protect them. Ice releases tear gas and took two people
We are getting reports of Border Patrol activity near Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis that happened during dismissal time today. Bystanders say officers shoved, tackled bystanders and handcuffed 2 school staff

Today I spent the day taking my 92 y/o mom to multiple doctor appts & the docs kept saying how much they miss seeing my dad. Came home 6 hours later to see my H burst into tears b/c our SIL- the whole glue of the world- had died in her sleep. And 3 kids are motherless in MN. Chinga La Mingra
I feel like im barely keeping it together tbh. The optimistic young person who had stars in his eyes back in 2008 is long gone.
