If this story is accurate, then all those stories about Keir Starmer meticulously selecting only the highest-quality candidates in 2024 were horseshit and, in reality, we are now governed by a crop of MPs personally selected by the financially compromised ‘best pal’ of a child sex trafficker.

I know I shouldn't, but I actually quite enjoy watching Sir Keir Starmer's carefully inflated self-image whistle fart noises as it spins off into the rafters as he deflates. This is what comes of elevating someone of the calibre of an assistant manager at a provincial Spud-U-Like to high office.
