It is really important to stress that Congress shares a significant amount of responsibility for what is happening and what has been happening, long before this month
Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.

I do agree with this point, but I wanna add that even if you mainly have other games as your inspirations, I think it's important to look at games from beyond your project's genre.
