We need her to run for President in 2028. Hopefully she will announce shortly after the mid-terms. 🤞 #AOCforPresident
AOC: "Extreme level of wealth inequality leads to social instability and drives authoritarianism, right-wing populism, and really dangerous domestic internal politics. That is a direct outcome of the failure of democracies over decades to deliver."

Unless you're saying 'lead' and 'read.'

But also 'lead' and 'read' rhyme.

civil society and right groups orgs that often keep a tab on and organise campaigns against these evil corporations are overstretched and underfunded. this internal memo from Meta is insidious and sickening
Facebook plans to put facial recognition in its glasses and they think we’re too stupid to fight back.

Their internal memo: “We will launch during a dynamic political environment where many civil society groups that we would expect to attack us would have their resources focused on other concerns.”

How can we say "but not all police" after reading accounts like this? 😔
"'She is dead,'" Officer Auderer told Officer Solan, before bursting out laughing.

"'No, it’s a regular person,' Officer Auderer said, adding: 'Yeah, just write a check — $11,000. She was 26, anyway. She had limited value.'"

3 MILLION PAGES.
STILL NO ANSWERS.

We don’t want summaries.
We don’t want press conferences.

We want the Epstein files

UNREDACTED.

Well holy fucking shit. Ring cancelled their partnership with Flock. Keep pressure on them to stop volunteering their feeds to state, local, and federal agencies, though, because that part's still going.

Yep, same.
“Democrats are afraid of what they’ll find in the Epstein Files. They don’t want full accountability.”

I will burn the Democratic Party to the ground and piss on the ashes if I find out our leaders were involved in a massive child sex trafficking operation. Every Democrat I know feels the same.

Ds successfully block vote on continued funding for DHS, which looks as if it will have to shut down or radically curtail its operations starting in a couple days.

This would very effectively dampen voter turnout. Because ICE targets U.S. citizens, registered voters, too.

It is not a coincidence that the Minnesota occupation is “ending” right before the Senate is due to vote on funding for ICE.

The fascists want you to think it’s all over and to disengage, but I hope the strategy backfire as a whole country thinks, “Are they coming here next?”

This. With narcissistic government entities, always watch the actions, not the words.
Don't believe announcements from Tom Homan until you see results.

These people have proven time and again that they'll announce stuff for a headline and then wait for the press to move on to some other story while they keep doing the same shit.

The press is complicit in this pattern.

Idiots are making decisions in this administration without any regard to the safety of the general public.
In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

Frost on seeing the "unredacted" Epstein files: A few takeaways. Number one, there's a lot of documents that are still redacted. When I asked the DOJ about it, they said they received it that way, which means that Kash FBI kept them redacted when they gave it to the DOJ, which is interesting...

Still think it's really fucked up that the President can target a whole state and terrorize it and do ethnic cleansing and whatnot and life just goes on I guess without impeachment or a government shutdown or something.

Yes, by all means, Democrats, whatever you do, in the middle of Trump's SOTU speech, DO NOT stand up and yell, "QUIET PIGGY," unless you want to be the frontrunner for the 2028 presidential nomination.

Said at whips meeting this AM to either sit in "silent defiance" or boycott altogether, sources told @axios.com

A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today.

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.

Just wow.

Pam Bondi has been a complete and total failure at her job. The Epstein survivors showed more courage just by being in that room than she did under oath. She refused to answer questions and chose complicity.

America deserves better.

REMINDER: Pam Bondi was Attorney General of Florida from 2011 to 2019 when Jeffrey Epstein was running his child rape ring in her very state. She prosecuted many child predators but NEVER even investigated Epstein. It's clear she has been covering up Epstein's crimes for years!
