Not just apps and software. I wasn’t joking when I said a year or so ago that I hoped everyone responsible for an important data set had a pre-2022 snapshot and a plan for how to cope with rolling back to it eventually.
AI is just microplastics for software. It's polluted every app and slowly killing them.

In other not exactly news, I read my 50 book goal for the year and I’m managing to continue. I’ve read some of Martha Wells Raksura books (because while I’m hyper focused on Murderbot, she has other works). Also just finished @scalzi.com ‘s _Old Man’s War_ which was not at all what I expected.

I have a lot of feelings and I need to go stare at a wall.
I can not overstate how excited I am. Like, how much am I enjoying the show?
I put down my phone when it starts and give it my full, 100% attention.
It completely serves the dopamine needs of my book-reading, memberberry loving, ADHD ass, and I will probably rewatch the series a dozen times.

Went to PDX a couple of weeks ago, and visited the Japanese garden. Took the opportunity to play with Seek (i naturalist) to play pokeplants

Wisdom teeth are stupid, getting them removed is annoying, and cats are buttheads.
I’m fine, just tired and a bit sore. Two teeth removed yesterday. Ultimately the whole thing went fast and easily and I should have done it ages ago. But now it’s done.
