So yeah, Schumer is fucking awful. But there’s enough Democrats supporting this debacle that it’s obviously more than a one-guy problem. The party that consistently presents itself as the only bulwark against fascism keeps surrendering to fascism.

There is no hell hot enough for the administration demanding clawbacks from SNAP recipients. This is shockingly evil, especially only a few weeks away from a “holiday” where people who have the means will brag about eating so much they have to take off their belts and sleep by 4pm.

Even some Republicans are finally realizing that the single-minded focus on pushing trans hatred as the GOP agenda isn't working. After spending millions on anti trans ads, Virginia Republicans were wiped out. One is speaking out against the focus on hating trans people over addressing the economy.
