I am not getting better at communicating with neurotypical people forty years in, that's for sure.

I hate when you want to write something negative about autism as an autistic person, but you're afraid the neurotypical/ableist/ABA people will find it.
THE TOPIC IS NOT FOR YOU. Autistics can critique the behavior of other autistic people -__-

In the end I take this comfort, that I am more satisfied than the hunters and hounds that someday I will return to earth, for they seek not immortality but stasis; eternity is already in us and in the trees whose roots connect through fungal networds and our planet's roiling hot soul.

Alrighty, I'm logging out for the weekend. Everybody take your meds, drink your water, try to be nice to each other. 💚

Except Nazis, punch the Nazis.

I am going to need to have a tough conversation with someone important to me shortly, so if anyone has some good vibes to spare, I would not say no to them. 💚

I often have to remind myself that I am not and have never been a woman, like in women's spaces and perceived as one, yes, but never actually one in a fundamental way. It's weird how we gaslight ourselves.

We have shipped 325,686 whistles in February (these last 12 days) so far.

This is about 651 kg of filament that we have gone through. It really does help to get gift cards for non-Amazon sources!
Hello folks! In our neverending quest to get our filament needs away from Amazon, I'm doing a call today specifically for elegoo gift cards!

They have really nice affordable bundles & a few of our printers love their PETG!

Send to [email protected] 💓

Anybody else seeing some . . . stuff . . . in March?

Just curious.

The duality of a yawning cat: cute little mouth, ears back, eyes slightly buggy.

But also: a clear view of just how long those teefers are.

I can understand why a good, hard, meaningful cat bite could send someone to the ER, those things don't mess around.

I continue to recommend the book "The Most Human Human", it's probably the first good book I read about AI back in, I dunno *checks publication date* probably 2012 and it does a great job looking into how humans and AI interact and what the Turing test actually is.

Anyway, I guess I'd recommend (and I know that people doing good journalism often don't have a lot of resources in this regard) brushing up on victim and survivor-centered communication methods if you're someone reporting out on some of these things.
Three migraine auras since the first weekend of February, being a survivor of abuse in this age of Epstein file release sure is something.

I think I'd feel better if I thought these people would face consequences, but . . .

Jesus Christ, I'm so tired of being right, y'all. It doesn't feel good.

Since I have a lot of new followers, I will re-up this. Some folks just wanted to buy a couple whistles from us instead of getting 100-1000 FOR FREE (which you can do at the linktree in my bio!!!!!)

I just kinda stopped doing my day job at this point but etsy keeps us afloat! 🤣💓

It's been a while since I went on my journey with my own anger so I don't talk about the process a lot, anymore, and instead tend to speak on where I landed, but this is important to remember.

I haven't always had a healthy relationship with my anger. But part of getting there was learning not to
I went through a reckoning in my late 20s/early 30s where I had to acknowledge my anger as something that is not separate from me, and it was really tough, but as a result I ended up viewing my anger as a companion and friend rather than something to constantly struggle against.

Fuck capitalism and transphobia and the TERF wizard lady specifically

Read weird trans books
On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?

I think that it can be really dangerous to categorize some people as "monsters" based off the things they do. To say that it takes some kind of inhuman psychology to do monstrous things can lead people to more easily excuse their actions when they do harm, because after all, they are not monsters.

I definitely need to practice my Spanish, three years in high school and four semesters in college feel like a long time ago!

I am sure it's just the part of the internet I'm on, but y'all, we should definitely be talking more about how Ricky Martin still has an off-the-charts voice!

I'm very inclined to agree.

Also, Spanish is just a lovely language to speak. Big, round vowels and every letter makes a consistent sound.

And it feels really good when someone jumps down off a roof to help you change a tire, and you can thank them, and get complimented on your accent!
I’m not sure how it’s possible not to speak a word of Spanish in America in 2026 but it sounds like a lot of you have work to do ✨
