I’m not going to mention any names, but I will say that it’s very easy to charm scary narcissists actually if you talk to them very warmly, listen respectfully while they speak, make a ton of eye contact, and present your ideas enthusiastically without actually saying you don’t like their ideas.

One of the big things I did in my ADHD diagnosis journey was to deconstruct a lot of ideas our culture has about productivity and shame. I won’t say that I’ve achieved any particular goal, but I am happier now that I can walk past a sink full of dishes without calling myself bad names about it.

I love Star Wars with fundamental parts of my soul, but also the vast majority of the franchise is indefensible from both artistic and cultural perspectives. It has created some of the most heinous fans and well *stares into the middle distance while remembering the art of Luke and Mara’s wedding*

When you’re making a Broadway show about Spider-Man that includes a giant hole in the stage actors just keep falling into? Problematic stage gap.
