I would like to know how my prior colleagues, who have chosen to pursue leadership positions under this charlatan, justify ordering agents to break their oaths of office and open investigations on people simply for exercising their legal rights.

Good luck gazing in the mirror when this is all over.

yet another sign they're doing all they can to make DHS more prominent (can't say more elite, but more favored) than DOJ.
Two sources at US embassy in Rome confirmed ICE participation at the Milano-Cortina Olympic Games 2026; and said that “federal ICE agents would support diplomatic security details (Rubio and Vance) and would not run any immigration enforcement operations”. This has been also confirmed by AP.

requiring ICE to get arrest warrants is *THE WAY* at least in the short term.
that alone would radically change their workflow for the better.

President Zelenskyy:

The task of Ukrainian units is to inflict a level of losses on the occupier at which Russian casualties exceed the amount of reinforcements they are able to send to their forces each month. This is a realistic task.

One of the more interesting dynamics to the Battle of Minneapolis is that it's very clear that it was chosen as a target because of 2020. Which, IMO, was a significant misstep because 2020 is what taught both its activists, police, and leadership how to handle such a situation.
people were mad about the exhortations by state officials to stay calm but if mlps had not stayed calm they would not have routed them

This was just me making this comparison yesterday, but today the Korean news is calling Minnesota "America's Gwangju" and have human rights lawyers explaining how America is now living through the dictatorship Korea once had.
The Chun regime that my wife fought against in the 80s did the exact same thing. They needed a "crisis" that "only they could solve" to hoard more ill-gotten power, so they chose one city (Gwangju), declared its inhabitants enemies, sent trucks full of soldiers to violently attack and kill them.

This morning, I recorded a video on TikTok about why DHS’s arguments for the power to enter homes without judicial warrants in immigration cases are bunk.

Nine hours later, TikTok still says my video is “under review,” and can’t be shared.

Well, here’s a link:

On NPR on Friday, there was a story of a 4-year-old--an American citizen--who hasn't left her house since early December, not even to play in the yard. And her 8-year-old brother recently stopped going to school, too. Their father is undocumented, and the family doesn't want to risk him being taken.
